non standerd 6 bolt pattern........................ makes finding a disc rather hard. even diatech discs are standerd 6bolt? any help would be nice. not my hubs but a friends who has just bought some second hand wheels
Now then, assuming that by non standard 6 bolt pattern you mean they are in fact 6 bolt but not quite normal I think I know what's happened. Are they really old wheels?
The IS frame/fork mount changed in about 2000/1 and at the same time they changed the diameter of the six bolts very slightly. I had this problem with some Diatech hubs on my 1999 Marin when I tried to fit Hope rotors.
There is no adapter available (you'll see why if you put the two next to each other)
If you want to use those hubs you need an old fashioned disc, try ebay or Retrobike. If it's any help it was actually Formula who made the Diatech hubs.
Also try speaking to Hope as they can make custom rotors for obscure hubs.
