[#7593767]

Having an issue that I've not come across in previous threads here or elsewhere.

Basically the post sticks down a bit for the fist inch or two of its travel, but works fine once gently pulled to begin movement.

Air pressure and bleed status fine. Had a service not too long ago. Not clamped too tight (it's actually off the bike).

Try another few bleeds.

I've only ever seen that with the clamp over-tightened, but you've ruled that one out pretty conclusively.

Is the return speed slow after the initial "help"?
If it's quick, then it's not likely to be a bleed issue.

I'd go straight to warranty, assuming it's still covered. (2 years)

If it popping up fast after you nudge it to get it moving if so I would guess it doesn't need a bleed but maybe you have dirt/moisture/grit in it's mechanical contact bits-ie the delicate lower bushing(gets effed up easy and coating pulls off),keys and sliding channels.Remedy is a quick strip/clean and re-grease with maybe a basic service kit being needed if that lower bushing is toast.
