[#477276]

has anyone used the DHB M1 shoes?

They appear to get very good reviews from all magazines and i have had a few DHB stuff in the past (earnley shorts, compton baselayer etc) and like them a lot, they just fit me very well even my extra long monkey arms. Are the shoes of similar quality to the rest of the clothing?

Or should i stick with Shimano like i has done before and get some M076? Or what about these new Mavic ones? any reviews on them yet? I haven't seen any, only the press releases.

Opinions please.....

Ta

My missus got me a pair in Feb and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with them. My previous pair were Shimano somethings (my memory's failing me but they would've been in a similar price bracket) and I find the dhbs slightly stiffer but with better grip for walking 'challenging uphill sections'. Nice fit, well made and, so far, durable. Recommended.

i had a pair earlier this year and the sole snapped on me whilst out on a ride......never had this happen to me before.

i then went and bought some sidi's and they are 10 times the shoe.

you get what you pay for?

Swoosh - I have a pair that I'm going to sell. Only used them once - too narrow for my feet. Might be of interest to you? Size 9/43. Construction-wise they seem as good quality as the rest of the DHB kit.

Mog, thanks for the offer but i'm a 45.

good to hear they are well made (with the exception of giantjason's pair which are a one off in my book.) might give them a punt

I have a pair have found then super stiff and really comfortable and for the price a good deal, so much so I have a road pair for my road bike as well at £33 they are a steal.

I've got a pair. Not the stiffest, but very comfy.
Had them for about a year with no problems whatsoever. For the money, they're great.
