and most of the field said PMB is way harder than the internet riders think

I'm sure it is, i find places like Antur hard enough!....still crap to watch though, much prefer these steep technical tracks.

Scratch that....

Warner seems to be guessing pronunciation, seen at least one pic with him clutching a can of Carlsberg.......could get messy.

This sounds more like a certainty now...

Go Gee!....has deserved a second WC for some time now!

Bryceland?!...over exuberance lad, no need to clean that final jump, he'll live and learn though.

GB take 1,2,3 in Women's and 1,2 in Men's (other than Ratty's ankle) it's another great day for GB DH 🙂

Absolutely unbelievable for GB...1,2,3 for the Women and 1,2 for the Men....not bad for a country with no mountains!....

Why is it such a big sport in this country?....i think there is some merit to what someone said earlier in the week that the rest of continental Europe ski during the winter whereas we continue riding through all 12 months of the year....obviously the top Euro guys find the winter warm weather places to keep riding but at a grass roots level i should imagine kids from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy etc near the Alps have no choice but to switch to skis during the winter.

Yep 5/6 medals in the seniors.
But honestly who hasn't gone one too big on the last jump.... (broken hand skinned half my back) it was the 110% thing I guess, you just carry speed you didn't know you had and then it's gone. What would have been worse for Gee winning when someone screws up at the end of losing to a guy with a broke ankle...

What a finish... Ridiculous race. Gutted for Bryceland but the champs is always about the big story- chainless Neko, footless Bryceland...

What a shame, Bryceland had it won until that last jump. I just find Gee so unlikeable.

you have to wonder with mulally, did he ride better without his chain as he knew it was all up to him and his skill, so he laid of the brakes. have he of had a chain he might not have went full tilt as he knew he had the pedals as backup. impressive stuff. great to watch like gwins tyre-less run this year

you have to wonder with mulally,

Nearly everyone I have seen at a DH race who snaps a chain does their best run. Just concentrate on flow and no brakes, it doesn't matter if you get it wrong so just let it go.

Was the race of the year up to then, but such a rotten end.

At least it was the end of the season I suppose.

🙁

learn a lot

I don't think learning is one of Josh's strong points.

Just hope he doesn't go as long as peaty for the medal and the stripes!
(edit though it would be another epic film if he did)
edit 2

I don't think learning is one of Josh's strong points.

I think it is if you look at this season.
