2.5 42A Minion DHF on the front, 60A DHF on the back. Unless it's truly foul, then dig out the Swampthings.

this time of year wet screams 2.5 f&r then by summer they are worn down quite a bit so are perfect for the summer 8)

why would you use minion dh f on the rear too?

Minion fronts on the rear is a very common thing to do as they corner better. You lose a little braking this way but they turn noticably better.
Personally I'd leave the kenda nevergrips alone and run maxxis. If you're going to be using at this time of year high rollers or swamp things for dryer months high rollers or minions.

I run;

2.35 42a Swampthings for damp/wet conditions (sometimes a Mud3 on the front)
or

2.5 42a Minion F and 2.4 3c Ardent/2.35 60a Minion R

a nice chucky 2.7 minion F and a 2.5 minion f on the rear

2.5 UST High rollers in ST, or maxpro on the back for budgetary reasons.

is that on a dh/bike park bike?

Minions Fs are V good but my [b]DH SLED[/b] currently has swampys on it and cant see them coming off till March.

All about maxxis on my DH bike. As above, swampys are another good option for most of the year!

out of the two, def minions (I'd go as far as to say Nevegals are shite) but why just the two choices when there are loads of DH tyres to choose from?

I have the 2.5 minion front in 42a - unbelievable tyre imo.

i ride in Innsbruck, So only ride bike parks. mainly nordkette and leogang.

i go between them as i have swampthings on at the mo. but need a new set of 2.5s in for the summer 😉

i chose these to because they seem to be the better of the rest here especially. Noone runs anything else and ive never used nothing other than these neither.

thats where i tend to ride
