How long does it take (at a fairly average to steady pace)? The route we're looking at is from the Clachaig, along Glencoe to the Devil's staircase, down to Kinlochleven, back to the Clachaig along the road.
4 hours? Ages since I've done it. Have always done the Blackwater dam or Mamore lodge descent (not its proper name) also - it's a bit short otherwise.
As per cynic-al; little point in descending straight back down into KLL when you can cycle along the water conduit to Blackwater Reservoir, cross the dam, and take in the far more interesting (I found it a handful on a hardtail) descent into KLL on the other side.

Stirling bike club done the route over the dam a month ago. 4 1/2hrs with plenty of stops and lunch in the icefactory about 20k total.
