[Closed] Developments with seized carbon seatpost

So...just as I was about to give up and start attacking my lovely Colnago frame to remove the seized post - it moved!

Thanks to a soaking of Coke I think. I've not managed to do much other that twist it with a heavy duty wrench so the bu99er isn't out yet. Any tips on how best to pull it out now it's finally started to move? I don't have a vice

use a saddle to get good grip on it.

I had an alloy post seized into the frame. After considering the options at 1am I took a hammer to the underside of the seat-clamp and it came out slowly - just make sure you dont catch the frame or wrap it in a towel first.

unforuntately saddle got destroyed in previous attempts and it's an ibeam so no spare old ones hanging about. And I am NEVER ever buying another ibeam saddle.

Will see if I can find something else that might slot in though and hammer that
