Picking up a new bike soon and it comes equipped with deore all round. Wondering is it worth swopping the zee set up over? New.bike.is 2 x 10 deore.crankset and.derailleur with the shadow clutch and.current bike has the zee.1x10. It's.not the extra gears that bothers me just will I notice a.drop in.shifting quality?

Cheers
Andy

The shifter makes the biggest difference.

Try it and see how you get on.

Deore is made of cheese so would only last me a wet Welsh summer before needing replacing anyway.

Not quite sure if it's your intention but a Zee is very very borderline for a 2x set-up. It's certainly way out of the range Shimano recommend. If it's a full-sus, with associated chain-growth, I would certainly not try it.

I know it's 2 different setups for different things.. Hoping I can upgrade prior to getting the bike that's if the lbs will entertain it!
