[Closed] Deore HT2 BB installation 73mm shell help?

is this correct, if im fitting a standard deore HT2 BB to a 73mm shell i don't need any spacers on the non drive side and one 2.5mm spacer on the drive side?

Im pretty sure that's right but now im questioning myself, oh and it's with a standard clamp style front mech.

no spacers at all with a 73mm shell mate

You've got it right, but some setups work just as well or better without the drive side spacer.

Edit: According to the Shimano XT instructions you're right, before R_R starts a big argument. Look at your chainring clearance and middle-middle alignment and decide for yourself.

ah i thought when i had the old manuals it said one on the drive side 2.5mm.

first to replies contradict each other lol.

ah, brilliant cheers mate thats what i was looking for but it wouldn't load.

So one 2.5 spacer it is.
