Do deore m590 or SLX, XT rings fit old school deore m510 square taper cranks?
All 4 bolt and same bcd

Should do,but may need a touch of filing as sometimes the seat on the crank is a slightly larger diameter.

Hants,
Stick to Middleburn standard CD-4 (or Deore rings and file down the excess material inside the bolt circles) to fit the older M510 cranks.
Do not try to file/grind the XT or SLX carbon composite rings.
It will only end in tears.
