[#3320023]

Forestry been at work (see other thread) so plenty of stuff now unridable....as we found out today

I notice it mostly seems to be to the North of the road running through the woods - so there must be plenty of stuff to the South? (I only know bits of the woods)

eg anyone got a .gpx route of good stuff please?

Sorry, i dont know what a gpx route is but you could try Wednesday night ride with Twelve50 bikes (other night rides are available) to find some decent routes.

There's still plenty to be had, ride around look for little trails heading into the trees and have a look

As Steve said... The perimeter trail is still great, all routes off old Pale are still fine, Tom's is still rideable. As is Dead Dog Log, Nicks' sleep etc... There's still a good couple of hours of singletrack to be had, you just need to know where to look..

I've done a few around Delamere and as already suggested jump in on the Twelve 50 cycles Wednesday night rides as Matt and Rick know it like the back of their hands.

Here's a few of mine

I'm part of a St Helens based bike club www.thewoollybacks.co.uk who ride there regularly. Like the tracks i've listed they are always 'off piste' and we have several members who go out and plot new routes as well as maintain the cheeky trails.
