Am taking a load of lads there on Sunday for an MTB party. Taking my bike is a hassle but doable at a push, is it worth it for a little ride or is it not worth the bother (as I suspect). Kids are being guided round on hire bikes.
Anyone been?
Was last there a year ago. There's not a lot of tech stuff and the wooded sections are quite spread out. Depends what you want from a ride but a cross bike or something would be perfect apart from the little shore bit
If it is wet, or has been raining a day or two before, don't bother taking your bike. Otherwise there is nothing tech there but if you go just to do some old-school xc then you'll have fun.
Having said that, the woody sections can get pretty entertaining in the wet.
