[#1789991]

De Rosa King RS 3.
Full Dura Ace
TRP calipers
3T finishing kit
Problem is it's about 6K.

So I'll have to have the Genesis Day 1 for £499 instead 😥

I got to there and started drooling. Then read the rest. Think I'll need a cold shower.

MikeC well it's a proper Uk domestic roadies race bike but not much of a pant wetter.
Then again I don't think I'd have the balls to turn up at a race on a King. As I've said on here before I feel ill at ease on anything that is far to good for my ability.

Oh BTW do you have a problem with dogs round your way or have you just washed it?

With a shower leaking through the ceiling, a broken dishwasher, a broken handbrake, a half finished bedroom, an imminent wedding, an expensive honeymoon, a reduction in my hours and an itch for a new MTB the wall can wait 😆

Mike strangely for Cannondale and their unusual designs, their road bikes are masterpieces in function over form.

Getting a test race on a Colnago CLX 2 in a few weeks. Not exciting I know.

Too many spacers under the stem, and fashion bottle cages that dump bottles at the first sign of speed humps or cobbles.

My pants remain dry.

😆

The cages are one of the few bits of non bling. Ace plastic fellas from Specialized that only cost a fiver but that hold the bottles like a vice. I use the same on my MTB and have never had a bottle pop out. Got to agree on the spacers though, but that's where I want the bars to be. At least they're carbon 😉

oldgit - enjoy the Colnago...mmmmm Colnago

Well, you've got a wedding and honeymoon coming so I think I'll cut you some slack, nice looking bike, my petty criticisms aside... 😀
