For my sins, I've been cast out to work in the provinces next week. With weather like this it would seem frightfully bad form not to take the bike and go exploring once I'm finished my days labours
So... are there any natives on here? Can anyone recommend me some good routes in the area

Now then, some months ago there was an OS map of the area posted on here; "Here Be Dragons". It made me laugh! That was the rough synopsis of riding in the area! 😉
You wanna head up on t'pennines above Saddleworth/Shaw/Greenfield, etc.

I had a belter of a ride round Hollingworth. Lets just say that it might upset a few people if i was to do it in daylight 🙂
I happened upon a courting couple at the top of windy hill. It was quite educational.
Then got shouted at by a van driver for taking up 'his' side of the road.
Was very sunny though and I discovered some 'new to me' trails. Back by 11:30 for cheese butty and cup of tea......Lovely!
