I switched from Maxxis back to Nobby Nics and found a slight compromise in grip but the weight savings far outweighed it. I want to stick with tyres around or under 800g. I'm looking at the Bonty XR4 Team Issue TLR and Spesh's Ground Control 2Bliss. Does anyone know the actual weights of these and any recommendations for these or others? Thanks.

Vittoria Barzo are just over 700g's

XR4's I'd say would be nearly 800g's

I think XR4 Teams will be under your weight limit but they're also kind of crap, no real dig or edge to them but they're not as fast as a tyre with that level of grip ought to be. Pretty much on par with a nobby nic I reckon, wee bit less puncturey maybe.

DHR2 in 3C is about 820g, so we're not talking a big weight difference here really?
