Anybody owned one?Any good? They do seem incredible value for money.Do look a bit more race snake than trail bike to me.

The expensive one I'd say you could do better with last years model elsewhere. Yes, if everything was full retail price it's good value, but you'd need to try really hard to pay full retail for a bike!
The cheaper one is very low spec so not great value for the money. I'd suggest you're better off with a slightly better hardtail or looking at the second hand market.

Weird I was just having a nose at them when I was looking for a cheap bike for the eldest.

I had one of the old well recommended ones, (8.1? I can't remember) it was decent, almost identical frame to the £999 one which is a bit dated now. The cheaper 560S was the one I thought was interesting, 68.5° HA tapered headtube and a proper sized seatpost so you could put a dropper one. Deore group set too, would be a decent option for someone who was looking at a Giant Stance but wasn't after a brand.

Sorry didn't see the 560 I was looking at the 540. Yes that one does seem pretty good value with the Deore stuff and bang for buck is probably a very good deal indeed.

Yeah, 540 looks like a bit of a dog. The grand one might be a decent budget xc bike. The suspension on that frame is surprisingly good, I only sold mine because it was a bit steep and I couldn't fit a dropper post because my legs are too short.

Umm....I thought the cheaper model looked better but I was a bit worried about the fork and brakes. The handlebars are also ridiculously narrow.I don't suppose the extra 2lbs will make much difference.Anybody know if they do credit?

They do Cyclescheme, not sure about credit, probably best off with a 0% credit card.
