the delivery takes ages. but then its got to get all the way from china, and the prices are crazy cheap.

i find the best way to order from DX is to order something, and then forget about it. im currently waiting on a little camcorder thats just ticked over into its 4th week of delivery. itll come, just be patient.

It's lands in the country from China in about 2 days, it then takes Royal Mail about 3-4 weeks to get it to your door.

Mine arrived Saturday.
Ordered 2 weeks ago (ish) and Royal Mail's turnover time was 3 days.
Yours may have been held up at customs.

I ordered some at the start of the month and I'm still waiting too. The tracking number they gave me doesn't work either. Fingers crossed!

They will come..........eventually!

I ordered on the 26th of October, and they arrived this morning ๐Ÿ˜€ and the battery still has about 2/3 charge - which is impressive!

So I'd figure on at least 4 1/2 weeks from order.

They'd also put the value at $35 dollars on the customs form - so no charges 8)

ordered mine on the26th of October, they left Hong Kong on Tuesday and were with me yesterday. Clearly the Hong Kong postal system can't cope with this time of year. I will remember not to order anything from Hong Kong if its within 3 months of christmas

I'm waiting from the start of November, wouldn't be surprised if its another couple of weeks yet with the xmas rush. You pays your moneys and takes yer choice!

Ordered on 26/10/10

Tracking number tells me..

The item left Hong Kong for its destination on 24-Nov-2010

Hopefully it won't take too much longer but the above example should give anyone ordering or thinking about it an idea of how long to expect, ordering anything right now could be even worse as Royal Mail struggle to cope as well this time of year with all the Xmas stuff.

Not really as the problem doesn't lie with DX but with Hong Kong postal service- I tried contacting them about my parcel and never heard anything

Think yourselves lucky they know you at all!
I have just tried to track mine but they have no record of either my order number or my email address, nice!

I think the parcels enter the airfreight system and then sit on the runway while high priority cargo (chickens, pigs etc.) takes preference.
The tracking system said mine had finally left HK and while I was waitng for the tracking number to register on the UK side it arrived at my door. Well happy with the light.

Just a bump as I've been perusing DX and came across this.

Part way down it says
"New Update (2009/11/20): Due to our mistake on price data synchronization, we are canceling the orders placed from 2009/11/20 0:07 to 2009/11/20 3:02, and we will offer you a store credit as our apology, the email will send to you within 24 hours, so please check it and get the details and the usage of this store credit.
Your understanding will be highly appreciated. "

So if anyone ordered during that 3 hr period you should have had an email from DX...

Wow, the delivery times vary massively. I ordered some lights on the 31st October and they left Hong Kong on the 25th Nov.

Does anybody know how you can track them in transit? The Parcel Force Website doesn't recognise them yet?

Ordered mine on Nov 1st. No sign of them yet so it's reassuring to hear that i'm not the only person waiting.

I ordered some from my commuter and it took about two months or so for them to come. I emailed them about it and was told they were experiencing "delays".

I have ordered a few sets of lights from them and they always turn up, just takes a while.

Arrived today. 5 weeks. I'm happy with that given the cost saving over ordering the same things from the 'UK importer'.

It all works lovely too. The new battery is a proper bit of kit, and the rear light is soooooooooooo bright!

Received a warranty replacement MJ-836 today. Dispatch was 10th of November, so cannot really grumble at just over 3 weeks.

Jamie, what was wrong with your 836?
I've just got one. Ordered end of November & arrived 18th Jan. Only has full power, clicks to med power but no change in light output. Was going to use it till March then warranty it.
