Hiya,
I have a pair of Fox RL32's and since they have been serviced I have noticed that there is a dead spot in them. When they are fully extended with no weight on them if you push down gently they move 2 or 3mm down before any resistance is felt. It feels like a knock and you can freely ppush and pull the fork legs and feel it no matter what position the lockout or rebound is in.

Any ideas?

I have been told by the people that serviced it to fit the forks and ride them a couple of times as the seals they have fitted may be binding so a few rides should free them.

Not sure on that!

Do you get a knock on the transition between compression and rebound too?

There's a check shim at the bottom of the damper rod with a spring behind it.Sometimes the spring gets over compressed/soft.It just needs 'stretching' a little.I've done quite a few recently ๐Ÿ˜
Take them back to where you got them serviced and get them to ring Mojo to explain how to do it properly.

No knock between compression and rebound, just the initial 3 mm before the compression starts.

Obviously return to the place they were serviced, are they FIT or Open bath? as there are various things that could cause this for both units.

Spoke to TFTuned and they said that I should fit them to the bike, ride them a couple of times and then the seals should have loosened slightly as they are nice and new at the moment. We shall see.
