My lovely new zesty 314 arrived today, I am like a kid on christmas day and I cant wait to take it to the peaks tomorrow to make the most of the sun! Now, question...

It came with conti mountain king 2.4's on the front, never had any experience with these before, is it worth swapping it for my maxxis high roller 2.35 or are the conti's worth keeping on?

cheers guys

My Orange Alpine came with mountain kings too, they were bloody awful. The front end was continually slippng out. I put a 2.35 high roller super tacky on the front and a larsen tt on the back... problem solved!

Rode a demo Zesty with them, they were fine for the dry day I had at Dalby. I'd give them a go before swapping.

I had the shop swap the Continentals that came on my Zesty for a Maxxis Ignitor on the front and Crossmark on the rear.

I don't rate Mountain Kings.

The best of the mountain kings- the black chili 2.4s- are alright. But if these are the cheap compound then they're pretty damn poor.
