my five ten exum guide boots have just died. extreme sole failure.
5 yrs old........should I send em back under warrenty?

and is there a boot as good to replace them.

Warranty for wear and tear is reasonable life IIRC, and 5 years for a pair of shoes is amazing. My approach shoes last a year at most, sometimes 6 months.

You can't expect a pair of shoes which go through all weathers to last more than a few years, reasonably.

As above, if it's just the soles - the resoling is about £25 I think

I had a pair of five ten camp fours fall apart of about a year of hard use. Sole started to split user the forefoot. Five ten replaced them without quibble which suprised me and the shop that dealt with it.
