Hurrah! Grand work, Brad. Now, go and find some fine wine. And drink it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not much love for Mr Wiggins' acheivement it seems.

I admit I've had my doubts over the last 12 months but...

That's because it is Mr Charisma himself - Cadel Evans, who Wiggo beat by a few seconds.

Really good to see Wiggo and Sky in general winning some races this year. Podium at the TdF?

Contdador looks pretty unbeatable, but the race for 2nd looks like it could be interesting.

Mr Charisma himself - Cadel Evans, who Wiggo beat by a few seconds on the day, but still didn't win the race!

Which leads me on to

It'll be an odd TDF with Contador facing a ban at the appeal - the race for second may be where its at.

Great work by Wiggins, can he cut it with Contador? I hope so!

Wonder what odds I'd get for a wiggo tdf podium and a cav green jersey.

Great result and he's climbing much better than last year but I think the TdF mountain stages will still be a step too far. The Dauphine was short enough he could hold onto his TT lead but unless he can put massive amounts of time in Schlek in the TTs I can't see him challenging for second. 3rd place in the TdF could be an interesting battle though...

Great win. He was great to watch in the time trial.
I'll be shouting at the top of my voice come July!

The main problem for him is that Contador is also a great time-trialist.

As long as he can be there or thereabouts in the time trials and hangs with the climbers group in the mountains, there's a possibility of a top-5.
I think his team mates seem better this year. Uran, Gee, EBH all seem to be going well. I wouldn't want to have to decide on the other 5 riders though - I didn't really see Flecha in the Dauphine - was he ok?

Great win by Wiggo! He was never fazed, even when mountain goats like Rodriguez broke up the pace with sharp little digs. I think he'll give 3rd place on the podium a real go this year especially as the team will be stronger for the TDF.

Cadel Evans is class though, a real gutsy rider and one who clearly doesn't like losing. Outside the heat of the moment he comes across really well. Never really had teams built around him, so has frequently had to perform when isolated.
