Just wondering what the conditions were like on the moor proper.
In the Teign valley it hasn't got up to 0C for the last few days. Got out on monday and it was leathal. The lanes were white with frost and very slippery, my local woods nearly unridable as they were in permafrost and the logging work/horses has poached it up so there's no tracks to follow and the mud rutts, still frozen, just beat you up. Progress very difficult.
...... and I don't funtion well when it's this cold!
Also am aware an accident in these conditions take on a whole new level of importance....
Just wondering what it's like up on the tops....
a chilly Q
