Any Dartmoor locals around?

In a couple of weeks time its Candodavids birthday ride and Dartmoor is the favoured venue.

Having been there in less than perfect weather, I know the moors areas can be shocking - How long do they take to drain? Will we get away with it?

Can't help with Dartmoor but how are the Mendips conditions? Bristol is drying out fast so I was thinking the Mendips would be nice a dusty by Saturday,

I should think the majority will be dry, but the sticky areas will be sticky for a good couple of weeks yet.

Dave will report back after ripping my legs off too. :oS

It really is great up there at the moment, todays ride around the Cleave was dry and dusty.
