Well, all of it after the Richie Porte crash in stage nine.
Still got sixth, chapeau to the double-hard [s]brummie[/s]'Irishman'
Yep, more proof that Pro-cyclists really are a 'ard as nails.
I saw some footage of hime getting off the bike a few days later - he couldn't stand up properly.
Brings to mind Tyler Hamilton in 2003 who completed the Tour with broken clavicle - was probably so prepped-up on EPO/transfusion that he didn't want to see his 'gear' go to waste and still won a stage!
Respect is due.
Geraint Thomas did similar in 2013 with a fractured pelvis. Nails.

He also came 2nd in the 2002 Giro with a broken shoulder. He doesn't like painkillers 'cos they make him feel 'woozy' so he settled for gritted teeth to get through. And then needed 11 of them capped where he'd ground them down.
Drugs cheats or not..... these blokes are harder than nails, they're granite.
And Dan rode most of it alone.
Dude.
And Dan rode most of it alone.
