Off up there with mates in a week. Never been there, dunno what the place is like, is it just a huge forest in the hills?
Also, mates are on Full Boingy thingies but I'm taking either my 29erSS or my Lefty..
Will I die?
No one died when the Singlespeed championship was there hth....
only of boredom.
Will I die?
No, although I'd think twice, I took a full boinger and was tired by the end, it feels like a long 20 miles with no easy fire road spinning, just lots of singletrack.
only of boredom.
Unless you spend the rest of your life skydiving out of burning aeroplanes into fields full of FHM models I think you'll probably find Dalby qite un-boring. Lots of singletrack (very little fire road) and some quite big drops if you want to ride them.
you'll be fine...only one climb will really trouble you and a few tight hair pin turns that you might dab on due to silly wheels. i've ridden it loads on a ss rigid 29er. ๐
as drinkmoreport says its fine.
A 29er SS is all I ride round there. The second half can wear you out but a take a break a drink and a bite to eat and you'll be fine. Its a good place for evening groups out. They'll be fast through some sections and opposite though other.
Some of hairpins can be tough so be prepared to flick your wheel or ride the banking a little.
will be fine on SS. to be honest i would just do laps of the world cup course rather than the rest of the red, it gets incredibly boring after that
