Can't help on current conditions but I thought it was looking tired in general last time I was there. It used to be well worth the travel time for me as nothing closer was as good (for a TC) but after the last visit I'm in no rush to go back.

Are there any plans to update it?

Singletraction are improving it bit by bit at the moment,
there may be some sections diverted due to re surfacing etc.
Swing by the shop-They'll probably know what the craic is.

I rode it last week. It was all open and other that a bit of surface sludge in the wooded areas it rode fine. I imagine by now it's dried up a bit more.

Edit - £4 for parking... Dunno if this was a winter thing as it's usually £7...

7 from march I think. I was there a few weeks back when it had really rained. Was ok for me, obviously was wet and cold by the end of it.

Its a damn sight dryer than anything natural nearby at the moment.

Singletraction have done an excellent job at refurbishing a fair few sections over the last couple of months. Its worth a look on their facebook page.
