anyone going? just found out i've won tickets on the bikemagic website ๐Ÿ™‚

i've only ever ridden the red route there once, and not the world cup course - whats it like? have either my heckler (140 both ends) or singlespeed chameleon (with 100mm forks) to take with me - thinking of the chameleon at the moment as from memory i think i'd prefer that for the red, but heard about the dh trails there so if they are worth a dabble i could always take the heckler (or have done with it and take both i suppose!)

Did the dare course today. Pissed it down just before we started and the continued for the rest of the day. Quite tricky in places before it leaves the WC course, not helped by much wetness. The rest isn't that great, some good bits, lots of link road. Didn't enjoy it as much as the usual dalby trails.

You don't need the travel but I'd not want to do it on a singlespeed. And could have done with something grippier than small block 8's on the back.

I've done the red and the majority of the world cup course on a singlespeed. 32/17. I only struggled in jingleby climb? where I stopped and pushed because its so long.
