Anyone been to Dalby today, is it still closed?

just heard off a mate that it's still very white and the forest road is still closed - that was today!

you could always ring the visitor centre?

the east of the country's supposedly the last to thaw, hopefully it might have thawed by next weekend though, quite fancy a blast up there.

Up there today, I was about the only one there!

The snow is melting fast but the trails and forest roads are like porridge, loads of branches and small trees down with the weight of the snow, it's a nightmare!

I wouldn't bother going for the next 10 days at least unless we have a heat wave or a few good windy days

Dalby NEVER really closes!
Over Xmas their web site said it was closed. BM's Xmas ride was even cancelled.
It didn't stop me riding 4 days (26th onwards), nor the dozens of other mtn bikers with whom I rode or saw riding.
Mind you, the trails were looking pretty ragged in some places.
