Si

Will it be alright to bring a couple of mates along to this? Both fairly new riders, though they certainly wouldn't struggle for pace if it's just a social ride... Just wanted to check as it's only polite!

A lot less than your last experiment with your local rent boy... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Flat fee I'm afraid, I know how to barter a good deal and get my money's worth! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Never managed to make one of these rides before, which is a shame as I live in the area, however I will be around on the 30th so plan to come along.

Any clues on the route ? I may get dropped off at Kilkenny but live in Nailsworth, so if the route heads over that way I could save 20 miles.

We won't be going near Nailsworth but you're more than welcome as long as you don't need to rent your friends like Riggsy above.

I really should check STW more often - found out about this last night and have a pass to join you mugs for a day out riding the super groomed Cotswold trail centre trails!

Sheldon / Nettles - Thinking about inviting a mate who's new to riding - how socialable is super social pace?

If I carry on eating at this rate, most of my saddle will disappear when I mount my bike...25 miles might seem hard work ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi, Should be able to make this one, never been to the Cotswolds before so looking forward to it. Sadly, the only thing I have that would be niche enough is a road bike. It would be a laugh off road though ๐Ÿ™‚

I might come along with the white shoe racer.

As long as none of the other Knights Of Niche are there.

It's uncool to all be seen together....

Aye oop chaps

Is this still on for tomorrow then? What are the conditions like?

I'm thinking of driving from manchester in the morning. IHN - any chance you could mail me a contact phone number on binandbop AT hotmail DOT com. As I'll decide in the morning depending on the weather (NB: I've had 2 pretty big offs riding in the ice over the last week. As the bruises on my legs bare testmony too)

Actually... on second thoughts... don't! ๐Ÿ˜‰

YGM Binners

To be fair, you may well be the only one on a 26" wheeled, 27 geared aluminium full susser, so you'll be entirely niche.

*whispers* You're not bringing Hora, are you?

Alas no..There are three of us..All packing 5 inches

(Although for the riding I am capable of, 1/2" would be more than sufficient)

This is going to be a leisurely ride isn't it... not only am I really not fit at the moment, I'm recovering from a chest cold and will more than likely be hungover ๐Ÿ™‚

If wokboy's leading it and how slow he was yeterday is anything to go by you'll be able to walk round faster. ๐Ÿ˜‰

'splosions right I've got a bout of manflu so pace will be slower than average. I may even have to resort to bringing a niche 27speed hardtail!

I can't walk again so I'll be pulling out. Nothing to do with my Glenmorangie stock depletion or chrimbo sexual activities. Just a weird thing I got going on with my tendons. Hopefully ๐Ÿ˜ฏ Have a sloppy one peeps.

And the bad news is that I have clearance from Mission Contol to attend tomorrows likely slop-fest. I do have mild some man-flu, so I might still wimp out, but I'm just off to the garage to pump me tyres up.....

Now, I realise that anticipation and excitement level are at fever pitch already, but I feel that I should tell you that I am preparing possibly the greatest ride snack ever. It's an old favourite, but with a seasonal twist ๐Ÿ™‚

On more sober news, the weather looks funking awful...
