[#2530614]

I've got a genesis day one with V brakes. I want to fit some cantis.

They'll fit the v brake bosses won't they?

Thinking about it they definitely will won't they, I put V's on an old MTB that had cantis on it years ago...

Set up properly canti brakes are just fine. You may need to get a rear cable stop and maybe a fork mounted cable stop too.

v brakes are shimanos version of linear pull canti lever brakes. In other words v brakes are a subset of canti lever brakes.

Do you have the correct pull levers for normal cantis?
