Myself and a friend are going to cycle from Dundee to my parents house in Thurso over 2 days in July. We'll be looking to spend the night somewhere around Inverness. Does anyone have any recommendations for cyclist friendly accommodation? We're on a fairly restrictive budget so it needs to be comfortable and fairly cheap or at least good value. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Findhorn Community has basic B&B accommodations, good cafe, communal dinners and hippies! (Not all of them are hippies)

depends on the route though - via Aberdeen is OK, via Perth, Findhorn ain't really on the route from Dundee to Thurso though ? - unless you then get a boat over to Portmahomack!!

There is a Youth Hostel with bike storage in Inverness, 10mins from centre of town. There are a few backpacking hostels as well, have a look a few of them should be the kind of thing you are looking for.
