Leek Cycling Club member Craig Gilchrist is over half way through his world record endurance spin. It's 10 days of solid spinning on an exercise bike! If you're near Stoke way pop into the Wallace Centre in Stoke to give him some support or even hop onto the buddy bike next to him.
He's raising money for Douglas Macmillan and is planning on beating the current record by 9 hours this coming Sunday. Mad, but hats off to him...

They guys justgiving page only has a couple of hundred quid in donations on it which is pretty poor.
One question i have about the record - in one article i read on it, it says that he has 12 minute sleep breaks. Surely if he's sleeping he's not spinning? Seems like a daft record to break. But good luck to the guy anyway.
