Cycling UK rebranding (again?)

Rounding up enough volunteers to run an event has always been a challenge for event organisers (and events always rely disproportionately on a small group of committed volunteers) but I suspect it is actually more difficult than it was back in the day. There has been a general decline in volunteering and race organisation is also a more involved process now. There is more admin, more formal risk assessment and more stringent organisational requirements, and that also means more people are required. 

I received the CUK magazine this week and was a bit underwhelmed by the rebrand. I understand the reasons for rebranding and promoting the organisation more effectively to people, but after reading the article in the mag it seemed a bit superficial, with the highlights being a new colour, a new logo and a new tagline!
