Does anybody know anything about riding the Kings Trail in Sweden? Any snippets of info' greatly appreciated!
I tried it solo in 1999 going S-N and I didn't get very far for various reasons. I have walked some of the more northerly sections as well. I'm sure it's a goer but have only found one account on the net and that's in Swedish so 10yrs on I still don't think many have done it. If you want to chat more then my email is in my profile. Likewise if your interested in teaming up for a crack at it.
A quick search on happmtb.org (Sweden's STW) gives very little. There's a thread about some guy 2yrs ago, who was apparently the first to ride the entire thing, and a short route-guide about just one of the sections. Sounds like a lot of hike-a-bike and marshland. Might be worth asking on happymtb, since obviously not everyone posts their rides.

If you don't understand the Swedish you can alway look at the pictures. I would love to do it! Seems it has been done before.
