Hello
I will be working in Skegness for 6 months and want to take my bike.
Does anyone know of anywhere in cycling distance (within 5 miles of Skeg) to cycle?!
Please help me, or I'll be Road romping for 6 months!

Cheers. Matt

I think you will be riding the road a lot ๐Ÿ™‚

unless you can go a bit further inland towards the Wolds?

There is nothing close to Skeg I'm afraid! Lots of nice road rides, if you avoid the main roads full of caravans.

Halfway decent riding can be found near the wolds - 30 miles or so towards
Lincoln. I would suggest Louth area,or Market Rasen area. If you are into downhilling then www.trailblazerz.net at Market Rasen is as good as it gets.

We usually do some rides around the wolds, but get over to Dalby, Sherwood and the peaks for proper riding, or across to Wales/up to Scotland!

If you are desperate for a ride near Louth, let me know and I can probably give you some pointers.

No worries - if you are over the Louth way let me know and I might be able to show you Lincolnshire's finest tracks (not that they are anything to write home about!)

The Lincolnshire Wolds are no worse than the Kentshire Downs.
If I get time off my schedule in Skeggy, I may well ask for a guided tour of Lincolnshires hills ๐Ÿ™‚
cheers. Matt
