Had a stinker of a cold last week, streaming eyes and nose and lots of coughing, aching and a few sweats

Feel better now but still have catarrh on my chest. I don't notice it until I lie down

How can I shift it? I don't have any other cold symptoms now

Can I go out for a ride or do I have to sit in the house until it goes of it's own accord?

I find it lingers too - exercise helps shift it, something short if you're not sure you're recovered.

If it's in your head, get out of bed. If it's on your chest, get some rest.

i used to get this once a year, took a month to go, coughing and phlegm.
now whenever its at all cold i try to wear a windproof front and when its really cold, something over the mouth
