so my cycle to work voucher is finally here! Any suggestions on a road bike for 1k or less?
I really like the look of the cinelli on CRC but I don't know much about the brand. I was also looking at Ribble.
Seems rose and canyon don't do cycle to work so they are unfortunately out the picture.
Use a lbs if you have one nearby, most can accept the majority of c2w or equivilent, plus you get a warm feeling for helping a local business sell a bike at full marked up price. (you are saving 40%/20% on the price after all using the scheme).

Lokey normally i would but my most local bike shop are the most unhelpful rude horrible bunch of people so I swear I won't go back in there. I did think about looking at other local bike shops as one stocks bianchi
Local bike shops may charge you extra over the £1000 as they get charged by the bike schemes quite often. That said my local bike shop had a Cannondale caad 12 105 disc on same for £1100. It was worth paying them an extra £110 to cover their fees as it was still a bargain and it was nice to buy from my lbs.
Something that can take full mudguards and 28c tyres as a minimum.
Kieth b I already have a pinnacle arkrose for gravel/winter/training/general dogs body work. So hopefully I shouldn't need mudguards but with the English summertime you never know

Yep, exactly what I would buy without even looking at anything else.
Boardman often have the best value road bike for £1000. Assuming it’s a summer bike and you don’t want discs than the below could be a good option
Full carbon frame with tiagra.
