I am looking at buying a cycle carrier for a 4x4. Pendle seems to be a good choice, but from what i have seen on photos it´s just a set of bars to attach to the spare wheel. Where does the bike sit?
Any ideas?

The 2 bars support the top tube so if you have an unconventional frame this may not be suitable for you or you would need a top tube adapter or 'false crossbar' that runs from the stem to the seat post.

Yes, but they seem to come just with the flat metal bar. No plastic "bed" for the frame to rest on. How do they stay in place?
