Yep, easily done. You just need to remove the cables, position the inline brakes on the bar and then cut the brake cable outer in the correct place. Push the outer into the inline brake and re thread the cable.

They work independently of the sti's, so you can use either.

Yes and yes, though I see them as pointless. I have a pair of Specialized ones for sale if you really want to give them a try?

I can't see the point. putting your hands so close together (less control) to brake seems to make so little sense.
