I was at Cwmcarn last night for the first time in years and after seeing some photos of the freeride section I was expecting to see the wooden drop offs and wall, how did I miss them?
Drop offs went after they realsied that it's a mite windy up there. Wallride was there last time I looked, and I still couldn't get it, but that was last year.
Wall ride is gone too 🙁
Still unexplained as to why.
i saw quite a few xcers take the (fairly small) wooden drops pretty wrong in my time, guess they got bored of scraping people off the floor?

YEah I lost count of the number of faceplanted individuals I saw heading to he bathroom to clean their blood smeared faces up. Years from now, archeologists are going to be finding human teeth in the ground up there and conclude that this was some sort of ancient burial mound, which metaphorically it was 😀
maybe they're just rebuilding it so you can hit it as a lefthander, for the numpty zoolanders amongst us.
