Do they still shut the gate at dusk? Thinking of heading up there for a night ride soon...
I *think* so.
But there's usually space in the visitor centre car park if you're there late.
If all else fails, you can park further up near where the Cafall crosses the road.
Cool, thanks. More concerned about being locked in than out! They don't lock the end of the drive by the road in then?
There's an alternative exit into the village opposite the car park entrance.
Pot luck on whether they lock the car park gate, just park by the visitor centre if you're up there after 8ish.
What would people think about leaving a car there overnight? Looking at riding out from there to a bed and breakfast but not sure what tge the car crime stats are like round there.....
