be quick with the olive before the wire braid expands

its an art to get the olive on, i wouldnt recommend cutting to final length until you have mastered it, or if indeed if you do get the olive on before final length is cut, just cut the clear plastic sheath back to length you want, then slide the olive up, and cut the exposed braid to the length you want
