Do you need a special cutter or will a normal cable cutter work??
I've always used a dremel disc myself, one of the bigger ones, goes through them like butter and leaves a perfect edge.
Hacksaw. masking tape round the hose, slowly and carefully. file off the loose/stray wires.
When i bought a set of Goodridge the shop cut them to length with good cable cutters. The jaw opening on my excellent (Park) cutters is not quite big enough to do the job in 1 go so you'd probably end up with a poor finish. I would go for a Dremel type tool personally.
Normal cutters. Don't use saws or spinning things as it can chew the braids. Wrap some tape around where you're cutting and it'll help the hose keep its shape.
i used park cable cutters and it went through in one go no problem at all, then a craft knife to cut back the outer and away you go ๐
screwfix sell good cheap cable cutters, did my Goodridge hose's no problem.
Tape, cutters and a hammer (to inflict a short sharp blow on the cutters)
Record WC6, plenty of copies around but none quite as good.
Shimano cable cutters here when I fitted a goodridge hose.
Felco C7 cutters are very good. Went through my Goodridge hoses easy peasy.
