[Closed] Cutgate/Margery hill question.

when you reach the start of the descent to the derwent valley, marked on the o/s there is a black dotted track, and on google earth it looks like a very faint track.
it runs just below margery hill to the bottom of howden dean.

is it worth a punt.....anyone done it?

Oh and it goes pretty much right past the ranger's house

the track i am looking at does not pass any buildings.

His place is on the opposite side of the little valley, he's shouted at me twice for being up there

Regardless, the track is rubbish.

I tried riding up it once as a "short cut" to get to the top of Cutgate. I get stuck in a peat bog ๐Ÿ™ I also bonked like a swine about 2/3 of the way up.

It's not worth it in either direction.
