I fancy doing the Cut Gate route in a couple of weeks time and wondered if anyone has a link to the best way of doing it?

Doubt you'll have any issues route finding - it's all pretty obvious on the OS map. Might need your wetsuit if it doesn't stay dry for a while though 😉

There's only one way to do it in a ride under 40 miles- out, and back.

Some stuff here. I live about 8 miles from the the entrance to Cut gate and make it about a 45 mile ride when riding from home.
A good place to start and park the car is Langsett reservoir and ride over to Ladybower. I generally do a lap of Ladybower reservoir and then back over.
