Last time I rode this (Sept-Oct) it was a swamp, but things really seem remarkably dry all of a sudden.. 8)
Could even cut gate be rideable at present?

its still winter - i'll be a swamp until May as least!

When I did it in August last year... it was still a swamp at the top then, so doubt there would be any chance of it being dry now!

Just got back home from doing Cut Gate. Boggy at the top, but pretty good everywhere else. First time I've done it on a full suspension bike, and loved it even more. I only seem to go in wet conditions, so don't know it any other way really! Not many other bikers out - think I only saw 3 others - quite a few walkers though.
