just got stung for 17 pounds on my xpg order. wouldn't mind so much but its taken customs/royal mail s month to get it to me

That's unlucky. All my Cutter and Superfly stuff simply drops through the letterbox with all the junk mail.

generally the vat is small its the RM handling charge that kills it off .
been got a couple of times now £4 vat and £11 handling by RM

Got my order of 6 xpg, lenses and maxflex in 7 days from order, and no customs - though marked value was less than the invoice - good service, just pissed off after a test run I have misplaced the maxflex!
