Need a axle for the rear of my bike- 12x135mm hub, to be mounted in 10mm dropouts. Axle must be 185-190mm long.
Azonic make something similar to what I need but trying to clarify its long enough..
Anyone help/give me an idea of cost?
Is there enough metal to open up the dropouts? Custom machining of an axle will be fairly expensive I would have thought.
I used the azonic one to mount a 12x135 wheel in my horizontal-dropout morphine. It had the thickest dropouts known to man, and the axle was long enough. From memory it was steel though, and weighed as much as a small child.
TJ, not that simple unfortunately! Weight isn't a major issue..
You got a drawing of what you want or even of the azonic one? Send it over to my email addy and I'll see what I can do
