Nice.
I always wanted a Miami blue bike to match a 205 GTi but I don't have the car anymore so it would just be a lonely metallic blue bike.
My custom road bike is painted Subaru WRX Blue with Lamborghini Orange highlights. Wanted a metallic blue and was struggling to describe it, then the Scoobys of old popped into my mind.
It hasn't got gold wheels though.
That’s a pretty colour scheme, but I still think it would look much better without that hideous top tube hump.
I first thought the fork was a tribute to the RS Judy's of old.
There is some impressing paintwork going on there and I'm really envious of anyone who can produce work like that.
Love it looks brilliant and nice to see something differnt .. Im sure I will see it having a machanical on top of Local though ..
No into motorsport, but the bike looks fab. Especially the yellow. Fork decals maybe should be on the other legs, but hey ho (if no-one mentions it it'll never be noticed! 😀 )
Can they do my old carbon Rocky Mntn the same dark blue metallic as my Beemer?
Nice!
More photos of the wagon please. I need a Busso in my life.
He's done a few videos on it at https://www.youtube.com/@iamandisykes
I'm interested to see a review of those HEL brakes, UK made and from a motorsport co. Have they come up with something groundbreaking or has development time meant they came out with something competitive with a previous generation Hope Tech3 not the latest and greatest?
Amazing paint job, really suits the bike!
Regarding the top tube hump, Privateer said this on pinkbike:
”The largest benefit is that the updated toptube design is 3x more durable than the design we originally tested. It also meant we could offer more standover, room for a tool mount AND allow every size to run a larger bottle.”
Unfortunately a lot of riders hate how it looks so from a business standpoint they may have been better selling a prettier frame that is durable enough but doesn’t last as long.
First thing I spotted was the fork decals, I'd get some more in the frame colour or white.
