looking for someone to make me a 28tooth 4 bolt granny ring...
its to run an alfine hub lower geared on a beach bike (surly pugsley)
yes i know about the warranty but thats expired now anyway 😮
this is something easy to get done for motorcycles but anyone do this for bicycles?..thinking maybe middleburn? thanks in advance 😮
Highpath Engineering make them. http://www.highpath.net/
Though they're not cheap...
highpath was going to be my suggestion too. No personal experience with them though.
would a 26 not do and adjust the rear sprocket size? I have a 26 here I think. You can get loads of rear sprocket sizes. 15 - 22 tooth IIRC
specialites TA seem to do a 28 64 bcd one

TJ if you have a 26t 4 bolt i will bless you with some beer!.... 😮
Think I have coastkid - I'll have a dig around in my spares box and e mail you
edit - I also have some different sized alfines sprockets as well
running a 22t on the alfine..also have a 20t...just thinking of running a 8speed chain with 2 splits with sram quicklinks and be able to drop down to the granny ring if needed...ie for a day on the cheviots and the Strathpufffer...gulp 😮
I have a 26 then you can have. Just checked. 26: 22 will be very silly gearing.
agree 26:22 will be awfy low...ideal for riding up walls 😮
will have to look at a smaller rear sprocket aswell which kinda rules out using a split chain/ 2 front ring option...Mmmm bikes eh? 😮
